The Mayflower - 1620

The Mayflower is well known for its voyage to America in 1620.  She left on September the 16^th, 1620, with the first English Pilgrim Fathers on board, from Plymouth, England reaching New Plymouth, Massachusetts, after 66 days at sea.  

The original voyage, in the company of the Speedwell, started from Southampton in England, but the Speedwell was found not to be seaworthy.  So, the Mayflower sailed alone from Plymouth.  The Mayflower was a ship of 180 tons and carried 102 passengers.
