The Endeavor (other spelling is Endeavour) was a British merchant ship, launched in 1760.  In 1768, Captain Cook landed at Botany Bay, Sydney at the command of the Endeavor.

Today, a real-size replica of the Endeavor sails the seas occasionally.  This replica was built in Fremantle, in Western Australia.  It is not a true replica of the Endeavour as it has engines and a modern kitchen and accommodation, but it comes very close and is just as majestic as the original.  The replica Endeavour was present for the bicentennial festivities in Sydney, Australia - where it is usually based
